Artist’s Statement
My early career was as an interior designer, working in residential and commercial interiors. I learned how to obtain and hang artworks that complete a design. I was exposed to many forms of artwork that informed my design style. I love bold colors and patterns, especially mixed media. I love to combine textures and colors to make bold designs.
I use experimentation to test how colors and textures work together. I often combine fabrics, papers, metals, glass, paint, and wood in one artwork.
I use layering with paint, collage, and mixed media to achieve depth, dimension, and texture in my artwork. I will use collage as a substrate for layers of color with paint.

I have shown in Gallerie Spectra in Houston. I am a member of the Woodlands Art League.
